Leo Drum Theatre
Leo Drum Theatre
Completed in 2013, the construction of a theater in the former Cloverdale School Auditorium was made possible by a generous gift from Leo J. Drum Jr., a long-time College neighbor and friend. Drum Theater’s 246 retractable seats, theatrical lighting, glassed-in control room, and sound system, housed in the historic auditorium where treasured architectural details from the building’s original construction have been preserved, bring an elegant new dimension to Huntingdon theater productions. A beautiful lobby and ticket booth greet guests at the front door of the Cloverdale Administrative Building. Leo Drum, who passed away in January 2012, will be remembered in perpetuity because of this generous gift to the College, to the Cloverdale neighborhood, and to the Montgomery community.
